Vintage Working ONE Stegmaier Beer Neon Sign Incl. Transformer Working
Amazing crate containing three neon, new old stock, Stegmaier Beer signs in original crate from sign maker. They defiantly were never used or lighted however testing revealed that they all are in working condition. I did hook one to the original transformer as you can see from the photos. They were found in an old time beer distributor’s shop tucked away on top of a freezer. If you know neon you can see that these are the old tubes and colors just beautiful. Funny part is that the crate is marked on three sides not to leave it at the distributes, guess that didn’t work out to well for the sign person. One side is marked Stegmaier. The tubes are intact just a little dusty which I did not clean off. The transformers are pristine note on the transformer box they are called “Luminous Tube”. There is also a hanger for the transformer included with each one. Each sign is 24″ wide x 12 1/2″ tall and 3 deep. They are made to hang in a front window of an establishment. The crate is 25 3/4″ long x 13 1/4″ wide and 14 1/2 high. The only thing that I discovered is the power cords, which are double insulated, the outer rubber is brittle which can be easily corrected. Neon Sign Transformer Test
Gilley’s Beer sign Neon original sign (large transformer) all red neon. RARE
Original Large transformer Gilley’s sign. Neon is original and very bright. Needs a new power plug as the one on it is old but it does still plug in. I have not found much info on these signs but there are very few of them in existence and some of those are not working. I do know my deceased step Father was working in Baytown Texas many many years ago when he acquired this gem. He settled in Idaho with my mother 20 years ago and the sign has been there until I moved her to Augusta with me. Please make an offer if interested.
